Fiction born of thinking outside the box

Lachlan David

Lachlan David writes fiction under the assumption that humankind does not know everything there is to know about reality. When we dare to ask the question What if?, we then open our minds up to infinite worlds and realities that can, and perhaps do, interact with us everyday. Lachlan's writing explores some of these possible interactions.

It is difficult to say exactly what overall genre this creates. Most stories can be loosely labeled on a case by case basis, but as a whole they tend to span several genres. Science Fiction? Horror? Magical Realism? Surrealism? Yes, all of that! Or maybe it just hints at some of it. But whatever it is, it comes from thinking outside the box of our limited perceptions and asking: "What if?"
